Rushden & Diamonds Match Trip

Thirty-two Club Members, family and friends went to the Blue Square Premier League match between Rushden & Diamonds and Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday 15th November, under R&D's 50/50 scheme. For more details of the trip click on the News page button above.

Club Christmas Disco

Final details are now available for the Christmas Disco the Club have organised. It will take place at Bedford Athletic Rugby Club on Saturday, 13th December starting at 7:30pm. At the October Executive Committee Meeting it was agreed to open up the disco to everyone, irrespective of age, so that all players registered to the Club can attend.

Ticket prices will be £5 for U18 Members (all registered players), £7.50 for Adult Members and U18 non-members, and £10 for adult non-members. However, members can purchase a family ticket to admit four people for £20, and a non-member family ticket is £30. As most families have a maximum three Club Members, player’s siblings can also be included to make up the number to four to take advantage of the family ticket.

A buffet will be provided and some festive activities will take place during the evening. In addition, the annual Club Christmas Raffle will be drawn. Raffle tickets will go on sale during November. Tickets can be obtained either by contacting Kevan Clark on 01234 353449 or by e-mail, or via team managers.

We wish to stress that the disco is not a fundraising event, it is an opportunity for Members of the Club, with friends and family, to enjoy a festive evening out, and for teams to get the chance to socialise away from the football and training pitches.

Club Founder Passes Away

It was with sadness that we learned of the recent death of Alan Moran. In 1978 Alan along with the late Colin Maxey set up Bedford Park Rangers (Youth) Football Club. At the time they probably never imagined that thirty years later BPR would still be flourishing, providing structured football to Charter Standard for around 200 players each week. Our thanks go to Alan for what he started and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Coaches Required

The U15 Leopards, who play in the Chiltern Youth League, are looking for an FA Level 1 or 2 qualified coach.
The U15s train on Tuesday evenings and play on Sunday afternoons. The U16s, who also play in the Chiltern Youth League, are looking for an FA Level 1 or 2 qualified coach. With Christmas closing in probably a lot faster than most would wish, now's your chance to help the Club raise some much needed funds without any cost to yourselves, whilst you shop on-line.
