After two completely blank weeks, there was a welcome return to action on the weekend of 18th/19th February.

On Saturday, the seniors maintained their position at the top of the league with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Dinamo Flitwick, thanks to goals from Danobrega, Finlay and Geary.

On Sunday, the Under 18 Tigers managed a fine 4-2 win over Waterhall Stars, despite only having 10 players and being without their regular goalkeeper. Goals from Mainstone (2), Beddoe and Hurl did the trick. However, the Under 15 Jaguars went down to a 2-0 defeat in the top-of-the-table clash with Real Aylesbury.

In the Chiltern League, the Under 14 Alleycats saw off Bushmead Rovers by 3 goals to 1, thanks to Smith (2) and Jeffers, but the Sabres went down 2-1 against Eastcotts, despite a goal from man-of-the-match Burnage.

The Under 13s were handsome 5-2 winners at Dunstable Colts, with Elliott, Inskip, Malandine and Nash (2) on the score sheet, but Wood’s goal for the Under 12s was not enough to prevent Woburn Lions from picking up all three points in a 2-1 win.
